Pierre-Yves Néron is assistant professor of economic and social ethics at the Department of Ethics and Philosophy at Lille Catholic University, where he also teaches at Faculty of Law, the Faculty of economics and management and the Philosophy institute. He is also affiliated researcher with the European School of Political and Social Sciences (ESPOL). He has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Ethics at the University of Toronto, working with Prof. Joseph Heath. His work focuses on the philosophy of public policies and combines approaches from business ethics, economics and contemporary political philosophy in grappling with questions of distributive justice, the role of the state – and of intergovernmental regulatory bodies – in shaping market structures, corporate behaviors and in taming inequalities. My articles appeared in Res Publica : A Journal of Moral, Legal and Social Philosophy, Journal of Business Ethics et Business Ethics Quarterly, among other journals.
